this extremely prompt post was triggered while i was talking to a dear friend of mine....

its one of those times again...
i've seen it happened so many times to others.... heck.. i've even been in this type of situations..

i guess we havent really lived if we've never been betrayed before...

sometimes i feel like relationships are like a string of beads... one snap is all it takes for a mess to be created... and what do u have left? a single strand of sanity that u cling onto?

what causes the fragility of such relationships?
jealousy? pride? anger? greed?
human nature?
i suppose...

since its generally unavoidable...

im sure we've all been through it..
one day u realise people who you thought were your friends suddenly turn out to be less than friends...
sure bitching is pretty normal... we all do it... but its only alright to a certain extent..

we should all realise that words hold a certain power....
it can bring joy...
and it can hurt...
boy can it hurt...

remember my words...

stay strong... for life is full of this kind of shit...

Gay flamingos pick up chick
LONDON (AFP) - A pair of gay flamingos have adopted an abandoned chick, becoming parents after being together for six years, a British conservation organisation said Monday.
Carlos and Fernando had been desperate to start a family, even chasing other flamingos from their nests to take over their eggs at the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust (WWT) in Slimbridge near Bristol.

But their egg-sitting prowess made them the top choice for taking an unhatched egg under their wings when one of the Greater Flamingo nests was abandoned.
The couple, together for six years, can feed chicks by producing milk in their throats.

"Fernando and Carlos are a same sex couple who have been known to steal other flamingos' eggs by chasing them off their nest because they wanted to rear them themselves," said WWT spokeswoman Jane Waghorn.

"They were rather good at sitting on eggs and hatching them so last week, when a nest was abandoned, it seemed like a good idea to make them surrogate parents."
Gay flamingos are not uncommon, she added.
"If there aren't enough females or they don't hit it off with them, they will pair off with other males," she said.

its been INSANELY hot these couple of days... even the air-con doesnt do much...

i was going crazy yesterday when trying to sleep.....

i think the heat is also getting to my brain... i've been thinking about nonsense lately... err.. lets get to that later....

i think my family is made up of compulsive buyers... as in... we're A BIT... unusual when we start shopping....

take mum for example... she can just suddenly buy about rm500 worth of clothes in A SINGLE PLACE.... and its not a few items that are extremely expensive... its actually quite a lot of... clothes... different yet pretty similar.... O_O

and dad is.... just dad... its scary to shop with him sometimes...

lets put it this way... this week (and at this moment) i have the following fruits at home:

apple, pear, orange, mango, mangosteen, duku langsat, papaya, nangka, grapes, rambutan, coconut (this was bought JUST now....)

mum: ' its as if he thinks grapes are going extinct or something...'

cause seriously... i have damn a lot of grapes (and other fruits) at home right now...

my brother..... he has a collection of toys...

oh wait.. calling them toys is insulting... i forgot... lets call them figurines.... collectibles!! stuff that some demented individuals would spend A LOT of money buying...

he has...

wolverine, magneeto, ghost rider, normal spidey, black alien spidey, tranformers (the red n black dude), hulk (hes big green n kinda ugly to me), one of the fantastic 4 (the rocky fella) ... and others...

ohh.. he has planes too (i dunno wat KIND because i honestly dun care! they're PLANES... they do nothing except collect dust)

i remember that my sis n i got pretty frustrated tidying our computer table because of those planes....... stupid little missels and thingys kept falling off!!!

and then theres me and my sister...

we're just a tad bit shopaholic when it comes to clothes, bags, accessories.... everything a girl needs... or dont need... haha

my camera has officially gone psycho on me... actually this happened awhile ago... but let me mope about it now....

so whats so crazy about it?

1. it eats up my photos... ill take a photo.. and then after using the camera 4 awhile.. it goes MISSING.... how 'mysterious' huh... i can consider being a magician....

2. but wait.. besides the disappearing act.. it can also do the reappearing act!!! (insert 'Oooooo' sound effect) sometimes after the photos disappear, it will end up in my computer after uploading the pictures... eventhough i cant find it in the camera.... such 'wonderful' ability...

3. it screws up my pictures... when i preview it... it shows this big purple square sometimes.. other times its a lot of small colourful squares... erm.... think pixelation.... 'amazing' isnt it?

4. it has mood swings and makes me go crazy by displaying an error that says: 'unrecognized file format' which will make me go: AHHH!!! wtf?! stupid camera!! whats your problem now?! @#$&^!..... my camera is indeed 'powerful'

before i forget... a word of advice: if something has gone psycho on you.. dont try to fix it by playing with it... there is NO such thing as 'magic touch'!!!

so i was playing with it sometime ago.. and this is what i got...

i finally finished my jeffrey archer! 'false impression' is one novel that i took damn long to finish.. i wonder why.. i have never taken weeks to finish a fiction before!

not that the story was bad or anything... maybe it didnt really appeal to me....

or maybe im just very childish... i mean... harry potter books take me 2 days max...

hahahha... i still remember what my mum said to me when i finished the order of the pheonix... 'are you crazy!'

but then i finished da vinci code in 2 days too.... so SEE... im not THAT childish!!

thats why my parents VERY RARELY allow me to buy any novels.... they claim its a waste of money.... boooo....

its funny how i like reading... but i hate english as a subject.... i mean.. it can be pretty easy... but i hate writing essays.. the factual ones... they're SO DAMN BORING to write!!!! its hard to make it interesting!!

i like creative writing.... stories are fun.... at times... it depends on the topic...

even in SAM last year we only done creative writing once... i think... i dont remember if she gave us homework for it because i've never done any of her homework... hahaha.. come to think of it.. i only did those that are assessed...

gosh can i ramble....

sometimes i have to control my blogging.. once i start i cant seem to stop... which is why my entries are all extremely LONG... its not that i havent noticed or anything... i just cant help it okay...

watched spiderman 3 yesterday at cathay! went with.... 9 other ppl including bro n sis... bro booked couple seats for us... theres really not that much of a difference... but u only pay rm1 extra so who cares.. i think gsc's couple seats are better...

anyway... the movie was... hmm... i think it was ok... i quite liked it.. but i dunno if 1/2 is better than 3.. LOL... when i was watching it.. i realised that i cant remember what happened in 1 and 2.. i mean i can remember things that happened but i just dunno whether it happened in the 1st movie or the 2nd... its all a bit blur to me.... haha!

it wasnt too predictable which was good... there were quite a lot of action... but one thing i dun get is... WHY MUST SOMEONE DIE EVERYTIME!!!!
ok.. maybe that was a spoiler.. LOL.... but the honestly... WHY?! and this time when he killed ........... off it was sad.... yet corny.....haha!

director-san.. did u have a sad past? y do u like killing off characters?

i got a bit of dejavu towards the end of the movie... errr the black parade part...
