a very long story.

last friday we had our replacement phys pham lab which was originally on tues...
the experiment was on eye drugs...

the thing about nottingham is.....

they dont believe in Animal testing.....

but they do believe in Human testing!!!

we had to sign a consent form 1st though (just in case something happens)
hahahaha

so i was the subject for the pilocarpine drug.... ie parasympathetic stimulant... well a muscarinic agonist la

good thing my eye colour is lighter... or it'll be really difficult to see...
the above picture was taken at 10pm.. which was.... err... 8 hours after the drug was applied....

i have no idea why i laugh out loud whenever i see this...
its SO weird!!

there was also another drug used that will cause dilation of pupil...
we went around looking at each other's eye
alien eyes and anime eyes
hahahah

the reactions were around the same

' really very small la! very obvious! HAHAHA'

so jakun right these people.... (is one too)

we had to measure near point accomodation, pupil diameter and light reflexes...
the experience was kinda fun really

but it was weird how one eye was blur
those who had constricted pupil couldnt see far while those with dilated pupil couldnt see near...
we were told not to drive and operate heavy machinery..
lol

my teammate's pupil dilated till 7 mm while mine constricted till 1mm....
we were also supposed to take note of when the drug effect wears off....
i was patiently waiting... and checking the mirror on and off...
it VERY slowly became bigger.... and things didnt look so weird anymore.....
but by 330am i still had uneven pupils.....
so i went to sleep
hahaha

next day it went back to normal!
yay!

okay now that thats done i should stop slacking and get some work done....

which means i just want to get 90/100!!! O.o (so impossible since im so the careless!!)

have to stay back late on fri for the 2nd time cause of stupid lab report.....

oh right... i still havent finish my MR and label for dispensing lab...
tomorrow got seminar to discuss lab results!!!

I WANNA GO HOME ALREADY!!!!!
